PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
April 5, 2011
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regularly
meeting on April 5, 2011, at 6:30 p.m.

Commissioner Eric Larson
Commissioner Thomas Wood
Commissioner Jim Wekseth
Commissioner Matthew Montain

I. CALL TO ORDER.
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Mosher.

1. Public hearings are scheduled for Comp Plan alignment with zoning
It was noted that mailed and published notice will be given within the next week or
so, of the proposed zoning changes that are proposed to align the zoning with the

recently adopted Comprehensive Plan. The hearing will be at the May 3
Commission meeting.
IV.NEW BUSINESS.
None
V.DISCUSSION ITEMS
Dallas Larson reminded Planning & Zoning Commission to take on-line land use basics
training offered by the League of Minnesota Cities. Most members have completed the
training and will provide the training certificate to City Hall.

Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Mosher to approve
minutes from the March 1, 2011, meeting. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
VI. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Montain to adjourn the
meeting at 7:05 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
