Also present were Mark Statz of Bonestroo & Assoc., City Attorney Kurt Glaser, Paul Palzer, Public Works Director and Finance Director Mike Jeziorski. The purpose of the work session was to review the 2012 Budget. Budget Update. Staff reviewed with the Council, a revised budget for 2012. Mike Jeziorski reviewed the various alternative scenarios that were provided. It was noted that all of the alternatives included the ongoing street pavement plan developed by Public Works Director, Paul Palzer. Council again reviewed staffing levels and the potential impacts of various alternatives. Consensus was that present levels of staffing are difficult to justify, given the tax burden on the city property owners and the ongoing struggles in the economy. Staff will make the suggested budget adjustments and present that version and the levy impacts at the September 14 meeting. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:35 p.m. Dallas Larson, Administrator CITY OF CENTERVILLE 09/14/11 11:07 AM Page 1 Check Detail — September 14, 2011 -UPDATE Check Check e # Vender Name Comments Amount 1 5/2011 000201E PERA PERA PYMT - PAY PERIOD 19 $3,294,28 9/15/2011 000202E IRS /EFTPS FED PAYROLL TAX - PAY PERIOD 19 $3,064.65 9/15/2011000202E IRS /EFTPS SS &MED - PAYROLL TAX -PAY PERIOD 19 $3,292.55 Check Nbr 0002021RS /EFTPS $6,357.20 9/15/2011 000203E MINN. WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has reviewed the criteria and offered his recommendation that neither of the locations meet any of the criteria for installing a stop sign and further recommends their removal. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: The Council directs that the STOP signs at east -bound Peltier Lake Drive at Centerville Road and at Mill Road should be removed. Adopted by the City Council this 14th day of September, 2011. Tom Wilharber, Mayor Attest: Teresa Bender, Clerk
