Description I
Purchase the Turcotte duplex that is at the intersection of Sorel and Centerville Road. This property is currently fur sale. The site is immediately adjacent to the old public
works location.
Justification
I
This site is a key component in the process of downtown revitalization. The site has valuable frontage along Centerville Road. The City needs to take a proactive approach
in looking at downtown redevelopment The site would expand the City controlled portion of the block. The site may be attractive as a land swap with the Church ofSt.
Genevieve for some of their agricultural land north of LaMotte Park.

Description I
Project would involve purchasing an unrestricted deed for Cedar Street ParIe This park can only currently be used as park property since the City acquired the property
under tax furfeiture. The City would have to pay the back taxes on the parcel to the school and Anoka County to gain an unrestricted deed. This is not necessary if we
decide not to ever use the property, except for park purposes.
Justification
I
This would give the City ultimate control of the fate of this parcel. If the City has an unrestricted deed, we could choose to sell the property.

Downtown Redevelopment
Description I
The City would have to contribute financially to initiate the first phase of downtown redevelopment. If the City has the frontage along the old public works site, there
would be utility assessments along with expenses for lighting, sidewalks, oversizing, etc.
Justifica tion
I
If the first phase of downtown redevelopment is successfully implemented, this should increase property values throughout the downtown area. Future phases could be
implemented and driven hopefully by market conditions. This project is consistent with the Minnesota Design Team visit.

Reconstruction of Heritage Street west of Cent em lIe Road where the road connects with LaMotte Drive on to the corporate boundary past the entrance of LaMotte Park.
Justification
I
The road is higWy deteriorated. It is predicted that there is little sub-base under this road. The road has been patched on a yearly basis for the last several years. It is
prudent to reconstruct this road at the same time that Lino lakes is reconstructing LaMotte Drive to minimize construction vehicle traffic on our new asphalt and for cost

Justification
I
This acquisition would allow for the expansion of the City's largest municipal park. The park is heavily utilized by summer youth sporting activities. The parking lot is
currently undersized and the festival committee had to lease additional space from the church for parking during the city celebration. The acquisition of this property would
