CITY OF CENTERVILLE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regular
meeting on January 8, 2013, at 6:30 p.m.
PRESENT:
Chairperson Darrin Mosher
Commissioner Thomas Wood
Commissioner Olaf Lee
Commissioner Eric Larson
ABSENT:
Commissioner James Flint
Commissioner Russ Koski
Commissioner Matthew Montain

I. CALL TO ORDER.
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Mosher at 6:45
p.m.

II.PUBLIC HEARING - Conditional Use Permit – 7137 – 20 Avenue South, Steve
Vermeersch, to operate an auto repair facility, B-1 Commercial Zoning District
Ms. Steve Vermeersch was present to review the proposed use.
No one was present to speak with regard to the permit and no written comments have been
received.
Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Wood to close the public
hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
Administrator Larson presented draft findings for approval of the permit, including a draft
conditional use permit. Mr. Vermeersch is satisfied with the draft permit.
Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Lee to adopt the Findings and
Recommendation as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.

V.DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Keeping of Chickens in the city.

Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Wood to table this item
until the next meeting. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
VI. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
1. Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes of December 4, 2012
Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded by Commissioner Wood to approve
minutes from the December 4, 2012, meeting. All in favor. Motion carried
unanimously
2. Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes of January 2, 2013.
Tabled.
VII. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Larson to adjourn the
meeting at 6:55 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
