The Lions Club has been asked to assist with the Austin Klecker Benefit
31 May 2014 at Kelly's Korner. We'd like City Council is consider and
approve a Gambling Permit for a Raffle for one of the Benefit activities to
fundraise for Austin.
Due to the unexpected passing of long time Lion member Lynn Johnson,
our organization is unable to attend this evenings meeting.
As a non-profit volunteer Club we look forward to assisting with the Austin
Klecker Benefit at Kelly's Korner.

On March 10th 2014,Austin got off the bus from school like any normal day. He took
the family dog for a walk, and when he returned his sister Elizabeth met him outside
with a slush - something Austin loves. When the slush sudden) fell from Austin's

hand, Larry (Austin's dad) asked what was wrong... Austin was having a stroke.Austin
was rushed to Children's Hospital where he remained in the Pediatric Intensive Care
} g Unit (PICU) for over a week - Austin just celebrated his 13th birthday. Austin is a very
active young man who loves to play basketball. Larry is self-employed and Dawn
(Austin's mom),just started a new job a few months ago. Austin's prognosis is good
