Guest: Kerri Kolstad - Fete des Lacs Run ●Showed new logo by Savannah Lee ●Recap of attending booth at Kids and Biz in Hugo ●1st Registration was received. ●Two new sponsors were picked up. Lakes Area Dance and Central Bank New Business #1. Music in the Park Promotion ●Kevin W volunteered to create a flyer for the Friday Flash ●Aug 2nd and Aug 6th were added to the schedule. ●The use of sandwich boards were discussed for advertising the events #2. Warming House Overhang - Lighting Issues ●A bid for $575 was received to install one light under the overhang ●A 2nd light was included as an option at a cost of $295. ●Paul will get the cost of adding a switch and get a picture of the light fixture. Updates #1 Council Member Updates ●Waterworks property was all rezoned to R3 #2 Centerville Lions Donation ●The Centerville Lions donated $500 to the Centerville Parks and Rec ●$350 were used towards safety bases at Lamotte Park #3 and 4 ●Covered in updates from Guest Kerri #5 Tour de Hugo ●There was no new information on this topic #6 Park Cleanup ●The Committee and a few Cubs Scouts and Girl Scouts clean up the parks on Sat April 23rd. ●Parks were fairly clean this year. ●Significant ersion wasn see at Trailside Park on Centerville Lake. #7 Basketball Court Lines ●Paul is looking into tape to be used for line in the basketball court. ●Permanent paint lines may cause ice on the rink to melt earlier. The tape can be removed each year before making ice in the rink. #8 Lake Erosion ●The committee discussed the erosion that was seen at Trailside Park on Centerville Lake during the Spring Clean up. ●Pictures from Brian Peterson’s phone were shared with the committee. #9 Mitchell Andersen ●A High School student and a member of a surrounding community. ●Expressed interest being involved in local government either as a committee member or a volunteer. #10 Centennial Lake Little League ●Motion made by Jon G to accept the Schedule and allow use of fields on listed dates and times. 2nd by Suzanne S Meeting was adjourned at 8:10 PM.
