SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
I. 10:00 A.M. TO NOON - PUBLIC TOUR OF CITY – Host and Presider, Linda Broussard-Vickers,
Council Member Emeritus.
**Council and Candidates assemble City Hall and will tour the City by coach. The public is
welcome. The tour will proceed to each of the following locations in order**
1. Centennial Lake Police Department, 54 North Road, Circle Pines
2. Centerville Public Works, 2085 W. Cedar Street, Centerville
3. Centennial Fire District, 1880 Main Street, Centerville – Station #3
4. Centerville Administrative Offices, 1880 Main Street, Centerville
II. NOON TO 2:00 p.m. – FREE TIME
III. 2:00 p.m. – MEETING OF THE COUNCIL IN THE FIRE HALL
1. CALL TO ORDER
a) Roll Call
2. BRIEFING RE: CANDIDATES AND INTERVIEW PROCESS BY LINDA WOULFE
3. INTERVIEW CANDIDATES
a) 2:30 – David Krueger
b) 3:30 – Hugo McPhee
c) 4:30 – Athanasia Lewis
4. CLOSED SESSION FOR DELIBERATION AND POTENTIAL FORMATION OF
OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT
a) TO BE READ INTO THE RECORD:
"Before we proceed, the Centerville City Council will now enter into a closed session
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.03 and Section 13D.05, subdivision 3(a),
which permit a public body to close a meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations
and to evaluate the performance or terms of employment for individuals subject to the
public body’s authority.
The purpose of this closed session is to discuss employment contract terms and related
negotiations associated with the potential hiring of a new City Administrator.
This discussion is preliminary in nature and falls within the statutory exceptions to the
Open Meeting Law. The Council will reconvene in open session following the conclusion of
the closed meeting."
