BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Committee Member Peterson will provide an update on requesting quotes for possible movie selections. A date for showing in Laurie
LaMotte Memorial Park will need to be scheduled along with a rain date.
Staff has requested getting a jump on this event to allow for marketing (newsletter, Administrator's Report, Social Media Outlets and
the City's website) and determining whether to provide snacks or a beverage to movie goers.

Ms. Nissa Larson has been requested to attend the meeting for a full recap. If she is unable to attend, statistics will be provided at the
meeting.
Committee Member Peterson will provide an update of the paddle event.
There has been discussion regarding promotion of both of these events at the Main Street Market the week of Fete des Lacs in
attempts to gain a little more participation.

Staff Update (LaMotte Park Play Structure & Main Street Market)
BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Staff is anticipating the delivery of the Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park new play structure equipment shortly. Chair Errickson-Grahek
can provide an update during Committee Member Update as she attended a pre-construction meeting with staff and the vendor this
week.
Main Street Market is in full swing, Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Vendor participation has been average (15-20) all
evenings with 3-4 food vendors. Participation by the public has been average with the week of Fete des Lacs exceeding 700.
If members can assist in any way, it would be greatly appreciated that you are on site by 5 p.m. We will need approximately 5-6
volunteers for kids night (August 21, 2025).
