Report Other (specify) ____________ _____________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________ Administration Department Use: Refer to: _________________________________ Consent Tabled Until: ______________________________ Regular Other: ___________________________________ 9 AdministratorÓs Report May 13, 2026 ADMINISTRATION The ESMC Advisory Committee meeting met th April 8 to explore the downtown and talk about a variety of issues, such as lake and trail access, ideas for development, etc. The U of MN Staff will organize the committee input and provide a report to the group. The U of MN staff will be holding follow-up meetings with key stakeholders over the next couple of weeks. These conversations will inform the recommendations they provide to the city. The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) will be treating Centerville Lake this Spring for the last and final treatment. PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION st The Commission reviewed a Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan for 6855 21 Avenue (Sutton Transportation) for an expansion on their existing site. The commission forwarded a recommendation for approval to City Council, and this item will be presented to the city council at their May 14, 2026, meeting. 10 Featured Event th The Centennial Chamber is holding their 4 annual Senior Expo on May th 14 from 9am-12pm at St. Genevieve Parish Center The event is free for attendees and there are abundant resources for seniors and their loved ones. Other Events st  May 21 Lunch & Learn Î 11:30am Î 1:00pm - Renstrom Dental Lab in Lino Lakes. th  June 9 Coffee & Connection Î 7:30am-8:30am Î Dunn Brothers in Lexington. PARKS & RECREATION At the CommitteeÓs May 6, 2026, meeting they selected the winners for the Fete des Lacs 5/8K Fun Run & Paddle des Lacs Logo Contest and the results are: Centerville st Elementary School; 1 Place, A. Droessler, nd $100; 2 Place, G. Saffert, $50; and Honorable Mention, K. Morris; $25. st Centennial Middle School; 1 Place, M. Li, nd $100; 2 Place, H. Hoack, $50; and Honorable Mention, F. Yusuf, $25. The Committee would like to thank the staff at both schools and all participants. There are some wonderful artists in the Centennial School District. st The two 1 Place winners will have their logos on the 5/8K fun Run & Paddle des Lacs T- Shirts and runner bibs. Chair Errickson Grahek, City Administrator Lewis and Mayor Golden will present the winners with a certificate and their prizes at their respective schools soon. Committee Member Peterson recently attended the Centerville Lions Annual Cadillac Dinner where the Club presented the Committee with a $500 donation for the parks. Special thank you goes to the Centerville Lions. The Parks & Recreation Committee is recommending to Council approval of a contract for Race Timing Services associated with their annual 5/8K Fun Run/Walk scheduled for July 18, 2026, 7:30 a.m. and registration will open shortly. The Committee also recommended to Council approval of several requests for use of our local parks. 11 PUBLIC WORKS Public works crews have been and will continue to complete the following activities:  Street sweeping throughout  Hydrant flushing st  Crack patching & filling in low spots in roadways (21 Ave, Fox Run, Mill Road, Brian Drive, etc.) CENTENNIAL LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT Join your neighbors and police officers for coffee and conversation. The event takes place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at The Rusty Cow, 2 South Pine Drive, Circle Pines, MN from 8:30 a.m. Î 10 a.m. This is a great opportunity to meet those that protect our community and discuss issues or concerns that you may have.
