<br />Approved <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />WORK SESSION & CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 11, 2026 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville City Council held its regularly scheduled <br />Work Session at 5:00 p.m. and City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m., in Council Chambers. The regularly <br />scheduled meeting (6:30 p.m.) was live-streamed by North Metro TV. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION MEETING <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Nancy Golden <br />Councilmember Linda Broussard <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Anita Rios <br /> <br />ABSENT: Junior Council Member Garrett Schneider (Non-Voting) <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br /> City Planner, Nathan Fuerst <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Golden called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />II. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1. Downtown Vision <br /> <br />City Planner Nathan Fuerst reviewed the presentation that was contained in council’s packet. <br /> <br />Lengthy discussion ensued regarding the plan, the scope of input, etc. <br /> <br />Council concurred to place the item on an upcoming Agenda for additional discussion. <br /> <br />2. Council Vacancy <br /> <br />Administrator Lewis stated that one individual had applied for the vacant position and briefly discussed <br />the remaining term limit of less than six months. She stated that having an interested candidate filling the <br />seat would allow the candidate to determine whether they would choose to run as a candidate to fill the <br />remaining 2-year seat. <br /> <br />Council concurred on holding an interview at their next work session to interview the candidate(s). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
