ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
WORK SESSION & MEETING MEETINGS
November 19, 2026
5:30 p.m.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held a regularly scheduled Economic
Development Authority meeting on November 19, 2025.
MEETING
I. CALL TO ORDER
APPROVED
The meeting was called to order at approximately 5:30 p.m. by President Remillard.
II. ROLL CALL
President Remillard called the roll.
PRESENT: President Mark Remillard
Vice-President Chris Swenson
Councilmember Anita Rios
Linda Broussard
ABSENT: Lloyd Drilling
STAFF: City Administrator/EDA Executive Director, Athanasia Lewis
III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
1. Call for Changes to the Agenda
New Business item 1 was moved under Presentations, so resident Katya Port could talk with the
EDA about her ideas for holiday decorations.
Motion by Commissioner Swenson, seconded by Commissioner Rios to approve the agenda
as revised. All in favor. Motion carried.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. October 15, 2025, EDA Minutes
Motion by Commissioner Swenson, seconded by Commissioner Broussard Vickers to
approve October 15, 2025, meeting minutes. Commissioners Swenson, Remillard, Rios, and
Drilling in favor. Commissioner Broussard abstained. Motion carried.

a. Check List
Executive Director Lewis introduced the item as presented in the packet.
Motion by Commissioner Swenson and seconded by Commissioner Rios to approve the
check list as presented in the packet. All in favor. Motion carried.
2. Communications
a. None
VI. PRESENTATION
1. Holiday Decorations
Resident Katya Port shared some of her ideas about holiday decorations. Sample images are
included in the packet. Discussion ensued and the EDA agreed to revisit this discussion in early
2026.
VII. REPORTS

a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED)
Executive Director Lewis noted that there was no report

Executive Director Lewis noted that there was no report

Executive Director Lewis reviewed the Administrator’s Report as presented in the packet.

X. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Broussard Vickers, seconded by Commissioner Rios to adjourn
the November 19, 2025, Economic Development Authority meeting at 5:57 p.m. All in favor.
Motion carried.
