CANVASSING BOARD MEETING
NOVEMBER 14, 2006
4:00 p.m.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville met as the Canvassing
Board on November 14, 2006, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street.
PRESENT:
Mayor Mary Capra
Council Member Jeff Paar
Council Member Richard Terway
ABSENT:
Council Member Tom Lee
Council Member Michelle Lakso
STAFF:
City Administrator Larson
I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Capra called the November 14, 2006, Canvassing Board meeting to order
at 4:08 p.m.
II.APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Terway, to
approve the presented agenda. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
III. ELECTION RESULTS
Council and Staff reviewed the recount results as follows:
Council Seat –Four Year Term
Linda Broussard received 500 votes
Linda Merkel received 495 votes
D. Love received 488 votes
Under votes received 276
Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Terway, to
certify the recount results as listed in the memo dated November 14, 2006.
All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
