scheduled meeting on March 4,2008, at 6:30 p.m.

1. Code Revision
City Attorney Kurt Glaser explained that he has been compiling all the amendments made
throughout the years and made some legal updates. He presented the changes he made to
Interim Use Permits based upon current legal changes to Conditional Use Permits by the
US Supreme Court.
City Attorney Glaser stated he would provide a color-coded working copy of the changes.

Vice Chair Love mentioned the issues of comer lots/yards and the fencing of swimming
pools relative to the struggle the Commission has had with definitions and enforcement
versus enforceability.
Discussion ensued.
City Administrator Larson stated that he believes the Planning and Zoning Commission
has substantially addressed Subd.l54, items I through 6 of the Zoning Code.
Discussion ensued.
The Planning and Zoning Commission confirmed that it is satisfied with the proposed
revisions ofSubd.l54, items I through 6 of the Zoning Code.
The Planning and Zoning Commission discussed revisions to Subd.154, items 7 through16
of the Zoning Code.
Councilmember Broussard-Vickers informed the Commission that the City Council would
hold a workshop to discuss code enforcement.

VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. Draft Comorehensive Plan
Mr. Brendon Slotterback, Bonestroo, presented the recent updates and changes to the
Comprehensive Plan. He distributed the updated transportation and parks and trails maps
and the revised MUSA Staging and Household and Population Growth Chart. He stated
that the formatting was updated and a table of contents added.
City Administrator Larson reported that the City received written approval of a $750,000
grant to build trails indicated on the updated Parks and Trails map.
Discussion ensued.
Mr. Slotterback explained that the next steps include making any additional edits to the
draft Comprehensive Plan, holding a public open house on March 27,2008 to review the
draft plan, and submitting the plan to the City Council on April 9, 2008 for approval of
jurisdictional review.

the opportunity to come and play at [enterville's laMalte Park. There will be a
variety of crolts, games, activities, sports and snacks. Porticipating children will split
into two age groups ages 4-7 and ages 8'12. There will be two 5-week sessions
offering opportunities to playl Please come prepared to be active, have lun and
coal off the summer sun with some water games!

abilities of balance, weight tronsfer and suriace maneuvers. The progrom content
will focus an SAFElY and haw to enjoy skating while avoiding injury. The

the end to proctice and shaw off ony sweet tricks they've acquired. If you are up
for more thrills and skills, toke the challenge up a notch and proctice a variety of
awesome wheel ITidcs at the park this summer! Helmets will be required far all
