PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
MEETING
JULY 6, 1999
Pursuant to due call and notice thereot: the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Centervil1e held its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday July 6, 1999, at City Hall, 1880 Main
Street.
PRESENT: Chair Kathy Welk

Brian Hanson
ABSENT: None

OPENING
Chair Welk opened the Planning and Zoning meeting at 7:00 p.rn..
PUBLIC HEARING(S)
APPEARANCES
Brief introductions were made by Mr. Ray DeVme and Mr. Dave Killian. Both of these
individuals are interested in the vacancies that exist on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Ap,plicant Interviews for Plannin~ and ZoninfJ Vacancies.
Candidate interviews have been scheduled for July 13th, starting at 6:30 p.m Staffwas instructed
to post as a special meeting.

Consensus was to send a letter to the person in Lakeland Hills stating they need to live in the
community to be eligible to be considered for a current vacancy on the Planning and Zoning
Commission.
Review Animal Ordinance
The general consensus was to have everyone bring back their Animal Ordinance comments to the
next meeting. It was noted that the each member should highlight sections that they would like to
see included in the revised animal ordinance.
ACTION ITEMS
Planninq; and Zonin3 Commission Start Time
Motion by Mr. Hanson to change the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting start time
from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., beginning at the next meeting on August 3rd. Motion seconded
by Mr. LaMotte. AD in favor. Motion carried.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
June 1. 1999 Planninlf and Zoning Meetinlf Minutes
Motion by Mr. LaMotte, seconded by Mr. Hanson to approve the June 1, 1999 Meeting
Minutes. AD in favor. Motion carried.
ADJOURN
Motion by Mr. Hanson, seconded by Mr. LaMotte to adjourn the July 6, 1999 Planning
and Zoning meeting. All in favor. Motion carried.
The July 6, 1999 Planning and Zoning Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m..
