OPEN FORUM NOTES
September 23, 2009, 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Qamhieh appeared before the City Council to express his concerns regarding
the severe damage that has been done to Clearwater Drive, due to the construction
by Forest Lake Construction. He stated damage to the road continues as the
heavy equipment is being stored and driven along the road daily and he feels the
road should be addressed and fixed prior to winter.
Mayor Capra thanked Mr. Qamhieh for the background information on the road,
stating the City Engineer will update the Council on the situation and the item
would be added to this meeting’s Agenda.
Mr. Lucas Nelson, 7191 Brian Drive, Ryan George, and Michael Mundstrum
indicated they are representing Cub Pack 432, which is selling Christmas
decorations as a fundraiser. Mr. Nelson asked if the City would be interested in
purchasing decorations for the light poles on Main Street. A price list was
distributed to the City Council noting that the sale ends October 20, 2009.
Mayor Capra thanked the Cub Pack for coming.
There being no additional speakers, Mayor Capra closed the floor to the public at
6:40 p.m.
