PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
May 5, 2009
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regularly
scheduled meeting on March 3, 2009, at 6:30 p.m.

Chair D. Love called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

V. DISCUSSION ITEMS
Administrator Larson reviewed a possible development involving a trucking facility that
th
may be soon proposed for the industrial area east of 20 Avenue. Formal applications will
likely be received for the next meeting.

Administrator Larson reported that the Metropolitan Council Community Development
Committee recently approved the City Comprehensive Plan. The plan should be submitted
to the full Met Council soon for approval. It will then be sent back to the city with a list if
required changes. The city will make the changes, hold a public hearing and finally adopt
the plan.
VI. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
1.April 7, 2009, Meeting Minutes
Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Mosher, to approve the
April 7, 2009 Meeting Minutes, as presented. All in favor. Motion carried
unanimously.
VII. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Lang, to adjourn the
March 3, 2009, Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting at 7:08 p.m. All in favor.
Motion carried unanimously.
