of the June 4, 1985 meeting, motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Discussion on the need for a building permit for a pole
barn at the Koch residence, 1626 Peltier Lake Drive. After
discussing the matter with the Building Inspector, it was
determined a building permit was needed, and there is no
exception for an agricultural building. Clerk will contact
Mr. Koch to request he obtain a permit.
Appearance of Dean Anderson. It was suggested Mr. Anderson
apply for a special use permit at the June Planning & Zoning
meeting. Upon further research it was determined that body
shops are not a permitted special use in an Industrial area.
Discussion on amending Ordinance #4 to either include body
shops or have underlying zoning apply. It was determined
underlying zoning required more research. Motion by Buesseler,
second by Welk to hold a public hearing on August 6, 1985,
at 7:00 P.M., at City Hall, for the purpose of amending
Ordinance #4 to include auto sales, service and repair as a
permtted use under Industrial Zoning, motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Buesseler, second by Welk to send the animal
ordinance draft to the Attorney for review, and to request
he advise us how the ordinance affects the Sewered Residential
zoned areas, motion carried unanimously.
Discussion on rezoning. It was decided to review the permitted
uses in the Industrial and Commercial zones and possibly add
a Light Industrial zone. Upon review of these uses, the
rezoning of the property at 6805 - 20th Avenue South will fall
into place. Clerk will obtain copies of Industrial, Commercial,
and Light Industrial uses and definitions in other cities
from the League of Minnesota Cities. Buesseler will also
gather additional information on Industrial, Commercial,
