PLANNING AND ZONING METING
Tuesday - September 2, 1980

Chairman Zimny called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm.
Clerk read public hearing notice for preliminary plat presentation
of Timber Ridge Development. Messrs. David Alley and Gerald
Walek introduced representatives of Timber Ridge. Mr. Alley
showed slide presentation on development and went over the
rezoning conditions of the project. Questions were heard
from P & Z and the floor. Several items were noted from
the City Planner to be included in the rezoning conditions:
street lighting, traffic signs, street names, landscaping
"island ". Motion by LaMotte, second by Baumann to accept
the preliminary plat of Timber Ridge Development to be
presented to the City Council pending approval from the Rice
Creek Watershed and contingent on additional items to be
included in the rezoning conditions, motion carried.
Mr. Harvey Cartier appeared before P & Z with request for
variance to Ordinance #15 on PLAT 28019 - PARCEL 0120 (0130)
reason being that he has already subdivided and registered the
deed. Parcel 0130 is only 75' frontage on city street, 150'
deep making the lot 11,250 square feet. Motion by Wilharber,
second by LaMotte to grant variance to Ordinance #15, Section
6, #1 (aa) (bb) (cc), motion carried. Reason for variance
being granted is that subdivision has already been made
previous to request for variance of P & Z.
Mr. Gerald Grundhofer appeared before P & Z advising of
his plan to build an off sale liquor store on Main Street
adjacent to the James Refrigeration property. P & Z requested
additional information and Mr. Grundhofer will appear at
October P & Z.
Motion by LaMotte, second by Baumann to accept resignation
of Joe rerkowski on the P & Z Board, motion carried. Resignation
is effective this date.
