Frank Zimny called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
Chairman read_the public hearing notice for preliminary plat
presentation of Clearwater Creek Estates. This consists of
25 lots, 13.66 acres description as follows:
That part of the west 56 rods of the NW quarter of the NE
quarter of Section 23, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County,
Minnesota, lying southerly of the south line of Block 3 and
its easterly and westerly extensions, PETERSON'S OLD HOME-
STEAD ADDITION, excepting the South 250' of the West 4 33'
of the Ni of the NE4 of Section 23, Township 31, Range 22,
Anoka County, Minnesota.
Discussion was held on the plat. Ray Murray made a motion
to accept the preliminary plat of CLEARWATER CREEK ESTATES
pending approval of Rice Creek Watershed, Mel Dupre seconded
it, motion carried.
Charlotte Peterson appeared before P & Z with request for
variance on lots she owns in Centerville. One variance
involved Lot 13, Block 1, Peterson's Addition to Centerville
and Lots land 2, Block 2, Peterson's Addition to Centerville.
The lots are 50 x 150 and by addition of more land to each
parcel, they would be more feasible for selling of property.
Bob LaMotte made a motion to grant variance to Ordinance #15,
Section 6, paragraph 10 on above lots, Jerry Sundberg
seconded it, motion carried.
Park Committee members Floyd Kruger and Leon L'Allier
appeared before P & Z with recommendations from the Park
Committee on property they are interested in acquiring
for park land.
The Park Committee members will be in attendance at next
P $ Z meeting when Mr. Short will be here to discuss park
land acquirement. The meeting is set for September 4 at
7:00 pm.
Ray Murray made a motion to adjourn, Jerry Sundberg seconded
it, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:25 pm.
