PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING TUESDAY - MARCH 6, 1979 - 7:00 PM PRESENT: Frank Zimny, Chairman Tom Wilharber Robert LaMotte Jerry Sundberg Melvin Dupre Ray Murray Walt Prachar, liaison EBSENT: Joe Perkowski Bob Lindgren Preliminary plat of Rehbein Estates waw presented to P & Z. Jerry Sundberg recommended that the plat be approved as presented with the exception of the Elm Street name being removed from the plat and 19th Avenue be changed to another name, the portion now named Elm Street; 75' of the roadway be blacktopped from the center line and the rest of the street landscaped to fit in with the property of the adjoining lots, Bob LaMotte seconded the recommendation, carried. Clement Schmitz and Jim Schifsky presented a preliminary sketch of a mobile home park on 20th Avenue and County Road #14. This involved 254 units; 132 in the sewered area and 122 in non - sewered area. Discussion followed and the two gentlemen will be in attendance at the April 3 P & Z meeting. James Kvandeck of James Refrigeration presented a preliminary sketch of a superette and gas pumps to be located on the corner of Main Street and Mill Road. This is a 2 acre commercial piece of property measuring 400' on Main Street and 200' on Mill Road. Superette would be a 3000 square feet building. He was advised to come to the April 3 P & Z meeting with preliminary plat and public hearing will be held. Bill Short from Barton - Aschman appeared for the remainder of the P & Z meeting with a comprehensive plan draft for the City of Centerville. He will be coming back to the April 3 P & Z meeting. P & Z will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 20 at the City Hall at 7:00 pm. Meeting adjourned at 10:15 pm. Respectfully submitted, Lu Prachar
