HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-09-07 Minutes PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1976 PRESENT: Bob LaMotte, Chairman Bob Lindgren Jerry Sundberg 1 Leon Williams Tom Wilharber Gordy Rehbein, Absent Walter Prachar John Peterson Fran Burque Marcel Rivard The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by Chairman LaMotte. Discussion on held on mobile home ordinance. They recommended the: Each unit shall have a gross area of not less than 7000 square feet; each unit shall have a minimum width of 70 feet measured at right angles to its side lines; a depth of 100' be included on #c under Site requirements; add an owner- occupant clause. 75' lots for home sites was discussed. Matter tabled until next meeting. Vern Peloquin appeared before P & Z with a proposal to change a 15' easement to a 60' street right of way in Subdivision #47 Revised. Matter was to be taken up at council meeting on the 8th of September and also reviewed by the Rice Creek Water- shed Board. Frank & Lynda Hentges appeared before P & Z with a proposal to subdivide his 5 acre piece of property on Mill Road to include his lot which he has already built a house and 2 lots of approx- imately 1 acre apiece. P & Z recommended to council to go along with proposal. Rice Creek Watershed would have to look at proposal before final approval. Discussion on the Centerville sewer was taken up. Mayor has recommended to Metro Council that the acreage in sewered area be increased to 390 acres to include 40 acres of the Center Oaks project. These additional acres would mean a 60 acre phasing in of 10 acres a year over a 6 year period. P & Z recommended that the additional acreage be phased in over the entire sewered area with the exception of property that was already platted. P & Z recommended that the variance on Peterson and Leibel property be granted by the council. Meeting adjourned at 9:35 pm. Respectfully submitted, Lu Prachar, Clerk- Treasurer
