HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-04-11 Minutes Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Centerville held a Public Hearing on Monday, April 11, 1988. Chairman Tourville called the hearing to order at 6:05 p.m. Present: Welk, Vermeulen, and Lindgren. Absent: Drilling. Chairman Tourville noted that there was no audience present, and asked for comments from the Commission. None were made. Motion by Vermeulen, second by Lindgren to recommend approval of the attached amendments to Ordinance 04 to the City Council for there April 13, 1988 meeting, motion carried unanimously. Contractor's Yard Add the following paragraph to the bottom of TABLE A, B -1 Commercial* and I -1 Industrial *: *Upon application it ie the policy of The Planning & Zoning Commission to make recommendation to the City Council to consider amendments to the Zoning Ordinance which would add to this list those uses which are not specified in the Ordinanoe but are compatible with those listed permitted uses. Fee to be set by Council Resolution. Also, TABLE B, SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS - LOT AND YARD REQUIREMENTS now reads: ( + +) from the edge of the traveled roadway, setbacks on County roads is 69 feet from the edge of the traveled roadway. Amend to read: ( + +) from the edge of the traveled roadway, setbacks on County roads will comply with County requirements.
