PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
AUGUST 2, 1995
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation Committee of the City of
Centerville held their regular scheduled meeting on August 8, 1995, Meeting was called
to order at 6:45 p.m. Members present: Thompson, Bisek, Larson; absent: Pelton,
Navin.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION by Larson, second by Thompson to approve the July 12, 1995 meeting minutes,
motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
NORTH METRO RECREATION
MOTION by Thompson second by Bisek to table this issue for the meeting for further
discussion, motion carried unanimously.

Tabled due to lack of information.
PI MUG WORKS PERFORMANCE, CRITERIA
Tabled. Bill Bisek will consult with Paul Palzer and report back to Park and Recreation
Committee.

P &R members present felt that they did not have enough members for discussion on this
important matter.
NEW BUSINESS
CITY HAIL SIGN
Park and Recreation would like to use the street sign to advertise for more members.

Park and Recreation would like City Council to look into surveying the land, grants,
assessed value and development plan.
NITS GOLF
MOTION by Thompson, second by Larson to have nite golf again, Bill Bisek will be in
charge of this issue with a date to be set later. Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURN
MOTION by Bill Bisek, second by Thompson to adjourn the regular Park and Recreation
Committee meeting at 7:45 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
