MEETING MINUTES
Wednesday, November 2, 1994 - 6:30 p.m.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation
Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting
on Wednesday, November 2, 1994 at the City Hall. Chairperson
Dixon called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. Present: Larson,
Thompson, Pelton. Absent: Drilling, Reisdorfer.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
October 5, 1994 meeting.
Consideration of the October 5, 1994 meeting minutes was tabled.
OLD BUSINESS:
Five Year Capital Improvement Plan.
It was noted this item was completed at the October 5, 1994
meeting.
Line Item Budget for 1995.
It was noted this item was completed at the October 5, 1994
meeting.
DNR - Outdoor Recreation Grant Program Update /Extension of
Central Park.
Motion by Dixon, second by Larson that the Park and Recreation
Committee again requests the City Council take timely action to
further the process of the purchase of the extension of Central
Park;
no action on the preparation of the DNR Outdoor
Recreation Grant can be taken by the Park and
Recreation Committee until a tentative agreement has
been reached,
motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
Central Park - Rink Attendant Update / Centennial Youth Hockey
Association - Request for Charitable Gambling Funds.
An ad has been placed in the local papers for rink attendants.
The Park and Recreation Committee submitted a request to the
Centennial Youth Hockey Association for $1000.00 in charitable
gambling funds to make rink improvements. Committee member
Larson updated the Park and Recreation Committee regarding the
rink maintenance needs.
ADJOURN.
Motion by Pelton, second by Thompson to adjourn the meeting,
motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned 7:00 p.m.
