Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting
on Tuesday, July 10, 1990 at City Hall. Acting Chairman LeTendre
called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. Present: Downing,
Reisdorfer, Clerk /Administrator Miltz - Miller. Absent: Dixon,
Drilling.
Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Downing to approve the June 12,
1990 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development.
Discussion to contact Marcia Taubr to make sidewalk around
Central Park warming house easier for handicap accessibility.
Night Golf Fund Raiser
Dates approved by the City Council to hold the Night Golf Fund
Raiser on Friday, September 7, 1990 and Friday, October 5, 1990.
Committee member Downing will be responsible for the
advertisement of the Night Golf Tournament,
NEW BUSINESS
City Celebration
Will be considered a "kick -off" of the open house of the warming
house at Central Park. Games were discussed; water balloon toss,
three- legged race, volleyball, shoe toss and find. Will have
games available for all age ranges. Food, still under
consideration, will be hot dogs, popcorn, punch. Will sell one
item, i.e. hot dogs.
List of laborers will be gathered and named in recognition of
building the warming house.
Point made by Clerk /Administrator Milts- Miller to have booths for
crafts set up in the ice rink. This will be looked into for next
year's City Celebration due to the time of year.
1991 Budget
Breakdown of 1991 Budget due by August 15, 1990.
Will hold special meeting Tuesday, July 17, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. to
discuss the 1991 budget, Golf Tournament and City Celebration.
LeTendre discussed the possible purchase of a used 24 hours
power, 1985 brush and mower deck tractor. Purpose to purchase
would be to brush the hockey rink during winter months.

Motion by Reisdorfer, second by LeTendre to purchase tractor
contingent upon being able to use the tractor the way is was used
in the past by volunteers; i.e. rink attendants and coaches,
motion carried unanimously.
Ms. Miltz- Miller discussed a long term plan on the development of
Centerville parks be considered. An agenda would be set up along
with public information for Centerville residents.
A long term goal was discussed regarding a bridge over Clearwater
Creek.

Motion by LeTendre, second by Reisdorfer to adjourn the meeting,
motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned 9:05 p.m.
