Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Centerville Park and
Recreation Committee held their regular meeting on March 13, 1990
at City Hall. Present: Dixon, LeTendre. There was not a
quorum. There was no call to order.
Neil Reisdorfer, 7176 Clear Ridge, was present. Members Dixon
and LeTendre recommend to the City Council that Mr. Reisdorfer be
appointed as a member of the Park and Recreation Committee.
OLD BUSINESS:
Centerhill park land was discussed. The Park and Recreation
Committee members will have to have a topographical map or walk
the area before recommending action.
The purchase of a trailer was tabled until the next meeting.
It was discussed that the Treasurer's report would be presented
at the April 1990 meeting.
LeTendre and Dixon recommend the expenditure of $280.00 for
safety fences in front of the players benches as required for
Little League.
The request for the soccer field by the Soccer Association was
approved. Member Dixon will contact the Soccer Association.
The request for the baseball field by the Little League was
approved for Monday through Thursday. Member Dixon will contact
the Little League Association.
Member LeTendre will check on the volleyball standards for the
hockey rink.
Member Dixon will get letter to Chomonix and Anoka County Park
Director for use of the Chomonix Golf Course for a night golf
