Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Park and
Recreation Committee held their regular meeting on November 14,
1989 at City Hall. Chairman Dixon called the meeting to order at
7:00 p.m.
Motion by Kupfer, second by Dixon to approve the minutes of the
October 10, 1989 meeting, motion carried unanimously.
Letters were mailed in August to Chamonix and Anoka County Parks
as well as all merchants contributing door prizes thanking them
for their cooperation.
Received a bid of $3,100 for cement and block work. Work will be
done weather permitting.
Motion by Kupfer, second by Dixon to approve expenditure for
cement and block work, motion carried unanimously.
Park and Recreation will be in attendance of the November 29,
1989 City Council meeting.
Kupfer will contact other communities to see if our Park
Dedication fees and possible Trail Dedication fees are in line.
Items for the December Newsletter:
1) Rink Hours
2) Ad for Rink Attendants
3) Ad for Park and Recreation Committee member
No one can attend out of town one hour workshop during the week.
The LAWCON (Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic
Development) Grant Program is two months late.
Motion by Kupfer, second by Dixon to adjourn meeting, motion
carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
