held October 10, 1989.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Park and Recreation Committee
member Lisa Smith resigned.
Chad Liebel was present to request being considered for a rink attendant
for the 1989 -90 skating season. He will ask others that might be interested
in applying for a rink attendant position.
LeTendre mad a motion to write a letter to the Columbus Township Lions
requesting funds to help complete the Central Park project. Second by
Paschke, motion carried.
Park and Recreation Committee requests the City Clerk to send Mayor Haberman
the resolution regulatiting the baseball fee.
LeTendre made a motion to request that park land in the Northeast district
be 2 -4 acre parcels, a total of 8 adjoining acres with the shape to be
somewhat rectangular, with minimum road frontage, no ponds, no drainage
ditches, utility easements, that it be graded with turf established, generally
flat and dry, with a sewer stub, and a sidewalk leading from the Hardwoods
Pond Park. Second by Paschke, motion carried.
Park and Recreation Committee requests the City Clerk to put an ad in the
newspaper advertising for a Park and Recreation Committee member.
LeTendre made a motion to adjourn meeting at 9:30 p.m. Second by Paschke,
motion carried.
