There was no old business.
NEW BUSINESS
Steve addressed the problem of vandalism at the Park Building.
It seems that there are several roof vents broken and missing,
which need to be replaced. Motion by LeTendre that the vents be
replaced as soon as possible to avoid possible damage to the
inside of the building as well. Motion seconded by Smith, and
carried.

The committee discussed beginning work on the sewer at Central
Park. It was noted that only SI200 is available at this time.
LeTendre noted that this amount should be sufficient to rent
machinery and begin digging. Motion by Smith to begin digging
and constructing thgg�,��s�gwer, completing only as much as 31200 will
allow. .Second by TUTi motion carried.
Dixon noted that its time to begin thinking about winter again,
and about who will be available to be rink attendants. We'll
need to hire attendants soon. `lotion by Paschke to table
discussion until some of last year's attendants can be notified
and an inquiry of their interest can be made. Second by
LeTendre, motion carried.
Discussion continued regarding the Park Usage Fees, as decided
upon by the P &R Committee in past meetings. Mayor Haberman is in
disagreement with these fees, and though the P &R Committee
believes that the decision previously made was well thought out
and decided upon, Paschke made a motion to table this discussion
until more extensive information can be gathered pertaining to
past agreements that were written, past residential complaints,
and estimates on what the cost would by', if various damages would
happen to occur. Motion seconded by Tod ill.., motion carried.
Installation of a phone at the Central Park facilities is needed.
Dixon discussed the possibility of getting a phone line extended
from City Hall. It was noted that the telephone would be placed
in a locked room and would be for emergency- use only. Discussion
and motion tabled until more information from City Clerk can be
obtained.
Discussion regarding the possible park development in the
Acorn /Center Hill Development took place, with LeTendre stating
his opinion that 1O% of this land is too little to be usable for
park space. In the past the P &R Committee had looked at an area

that extended beyond the ?1CSA boundary, that would allot: for a
multi- purpost field. Paschke motioned to table discussion until
more information can be gathered from old notes taken, and until
Carol Pelton can be asked for her recollection of past
discussions regarding this issue. Second by LeTendre, motion
carried.
