HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-04-12 Minutes 4 Park imilmilsOmmelrCommittee Minutes April 12, 1988 - 7:00 p.m. Members Present: Carol Pelton Steve Dixon Cindy Paschke Jerry LeTendre Walt Newmann, Council Liaison The meeting was called to order at 7 :00 p.m. Gerald Rehbein representing Rehbein Estates, and Dave Heller from Heritage Development were present to discuss possible park dedications in their respective developments. LeTendre made a motion to accept the March minutes as written, seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted. Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, gave P & R an update on things that need to be done in Central Park. (notes from Orville enclosed) Bids have been accepted for the mowing of Central Park, and have been awarded to Dan Tourville. Bids were closed at the March meeting. Friday, May 6th, will be Arbor Day at Central Park. Cars are being parked in Royal Meadows Park. It was suggested that a sign stating, "No Parking on Park Property" be put up. Orville Hughes said he has a "No Parking" that he could put up. LeTendre made a motion to appropriate up to $150 for a weed eater, seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted. LeTendre made a motion to accept the 1988 Budget as proposed, seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted. P & R discussed their recommendation with Heritage Development for park dedication as written in the March minutes. Gerald Rehbein of Rehbein Estates II, discussed his ideas on park dedication for that development. P & R informed Mr. Rehbein that they would make a recommendation to the City Council at their May meeting for park dedication. P & R requests that the City Clerk release $500 for the Summer Recreation Program. LeTendre made a motion to adjourn at 10:00 p.m., seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted.
