Council; had not conferred with the P&R Committee about this decision.
Further it hos not announced this decision to the Committee, rather
members heard about it through word of mouth. The PEA Committee
unanimously agreed the Council has severely undermined the Committee's
effectivness by:

invested over $50,000.00 in Central Park and this improvement will
:greatly increase its usability throughout the year. We hope the Council

has.
Under New Business" the Committee decided to gather further information
about other metro cities' park dedication fee scheduals before submitting
3 recommendation to the City Council to update Centerville's requirements.
The Committee agreed upon the following recommended changes in the
2'.equlations for Authorizing the Issuance of Temporary Non -- Intoxicating
'.'Malt Liquor Licences:
I. V3) sanitation facilities in the form of portable satellite are to
be provided at a rate of 2 satellites per up to 4 teams, with 2

permit fees from other municipalities to determine if Centerville's fees
are sufficient. Discussion was also heard about parking. The P&R will
request that Lino Lakes post the remainder of LaMotte Drive as no parking
on the lake sside. as Centerville has to avoid enforcement confusion and to

Lastly, the P &R regrettfully received and accepted the letter of
i esigi ration from Maureen Asieson. It was noted that Maureen has served
35 a conscientious and steady committee member whose ideas and hard
work will be surely missed. We thank Maureen for the time she has given
the City. Her letter will be forwarded to the Council members for the July
9 riteeting.
