Meeting called to order. Orville Hughes attended to establish location
of bleachers at LaMotte Park and playground equipment at Royal
Meadows. Park.
Royal Meadows Park was discussed first.. The plans are to locate slide,
swings and sandbox centrally on the sits:: Eventually we hope to have
benches in the same area for parents to watch from. A Royal Meadows
resident — Brian Hanson — has indicated an interest in helping build
the sandbox. The materials will be treated lumber 2 x 12 's at least
141 to 16' in length. Orville will talk to P:Ir.. Hanson on plans.
The bottom will be dug down quite far before sand is dumped into it.
As far as seeding, Larry suggested a plan to disc in fall and plant
1/3 of the park at a time to keep it open to residents, yet start some grass.
The park on LaMotte was discussed, as far as securing bleachers. Orville
presentis ideas on mounting them on posts to level them.

Both park sites were visited to walk out plans and discuss bleacher
locations. Larry felt along first base for the north field and along
third base for south field. Maureen expressed concern for fly balls, that
behind backstop would be safer. Larry felt the fence along baseline
was enough protection..
Royal Meadows site has been mowed and the spot for equipment was determined..
