Absent: Floyd Kruger
Carol made motion to accept minutes of February meeting.
Motion was made and seconded by Maureen and Carol respectfully that
therfollowing reflect the new officers for 1986;
Chairman — Larry Koch
Vice Chairman — Lloyd Welk
Secretary — Maureen Asleson
Carol will be leaving for China April 1st to return around June 15th.
She would like to receive a plot map of Park on LaMotte Drive, so she
can submit her ideas before leaving.
After much discussion on Royal Meadows Tot Lot, it was decided we layout
placement of equipment (swing, slide and sandbox) and then set up equip —
m ent as soon as soil conditions make it possible. We will seed later,,
roping off area to give it a good chance to establish its roots. Larry
suggested we locate a 55 gallon drum for trash and eventually put in a
picnic bench about 30 feet from road. All Celt a need to get some trees
established on lot too. Maureen has offered some small conifers and
Larry and Carol discussed putting in some birch. (Let's look into a
Oak or Red Maple too? :. *) It was suggested we meet at Royal Meadows
early for our April Meeting.

check with Debbie as #ar as policy and its' coverage on Parks and
playground equipment.
Leon will call RasyHoule to set a joint meeting between Lions and Park
Board concerning Park. Either our regular April or May meeting. We will
get figure from Debbie on Money left in our Park Development fund.
Carol asked about our Long Range Park Plans. Larry felt we should set
a goal this year to establish a 10 year plan to present to City.
Carob also suggested we look at the City's present land /money ratio
now in existance for new developments — 10% — and increase it to
perhaps 20%.
