Park & Recreation Meeting
Tuesday, December 17; 1985 7:00P.M.

Larry called meeting to order at 7 PM. Those present in audience were
Harvey Cartier, Charlie Cheeseborough & Brad Erickson from Hockey Associa—
tion and Bob Mann and Jim Wrobel, the Mite coaches for Centerville. The
following rink attendants; Tim Robischon, Tony Rehbein and Greg Engler.
Larry has made a Park Plan on paper with "moveable parts" to place ball
fields, hockey rinks, etc., so we can work out a park plan. He will bring
this to future meeting.
Royal Meadows Tot Lot will be -a priority in spring. All equipment is in.
• Meeting for potential rink attendants was poorly attended. Floyd was the
only Park Board member who was• able to attend. Job descriptions were
printed. We will have Debbie give us each one to keep for records, and
make sure each attendant has one.
Leon and sons have already begun flooding. Leon recommends not using nozzle
in bitter cold weather. Also, as soon as you lay out hose — turn on water.
Operator of snowblower must be 18 years of age or older.
Attendants worked out their Schedules during meeting. Telephone numbers of
attendants and mite coaches will be assembled and given out. A first
aid kit must be available for use at ice rink.
Harvey informed coaches the paint for lines on hockey rink is in shed.
Harvey will look into getting snowblower adjusted. He felt it was important
that attendants remain In atter if ANtene is inside.
