¢harlie Cheesbrough presented information from Hockey Association
concerning two Mite teams who will be using ice rink. Each team will need
approximately 1 hour practice time two nights a week. The schedule will be
given to us once it is worked out. There is approximately 30 children
composing the two teams. of that between 10 - 15 children are from
Centerville.
Mr. Cheesbrough made some requests, one concerned giving keys to coaches.
Floyd represented the Park Committee in saying we would rather an attendant
be at rink when the teams are here, whether it be practice or flooding,
as we forsee possible problems if keys were given out. Mr. Cheesbrough
would like to help with flooding of ice and will accept any instruction on
our system of flooding. We will train his volunteers at the same time
we instruct our attendants. Mr. Cheesbrough will be notified once this
date has been established.
Larry will check on the number of shovels for attendants and more will be
purchased if needed. The feasibility of the use of the tractor on ice
for snow removal will also be checked.
TOT LOT - Royal Meadows - debris has been piled on the lot by Develop-
ment. We will have Harvey remove it and charge the owners of Development

to Park are the Lions Club project now..The actual hook up of power
is quite expensive and is slowing things a bit. He also suggested we
look into moving back the outfield fences, as they are in to far for
the type of "sluggers" that show up at tournament time.
The condition of Tennis Court was discussed. New posts have been installed.
We will look into the possible repair of the "skirting" on the metal nets
as we should be able to use them again. The court has sunk again.
Harvey has put some blacktop on it.
94article has been place in the clatelfied section of Quad advertising
for attendants to attend informational meeting on Thursday, November 21st
at FPM at City Hall. The minimum age is 16 and a job description will
be given to attendants as guidelines for their duties. Larry suggested
the possibility of installing a pay phone in shelter. Maureen gave her
experiences with pay phones in shelter buildings from working in New
Brighton. They were hardly ever useable because of vandalism. Larry
suggested using a cordless telephone. Nothing was decided.
Larry will have Debbie order a satellite for rink use.
