One set of Park bleachers arrived damaged in shipping. They can be repaired,
but Debbie Gonsior will be informed to contact the Company. We would like
a representative to look at their condition and make an adjustment on bill
before we repair and set up.
Royal Meadows tot lot will be mowed again by Larry before we install play-
ground equipment. Hopefully it will arrive by October meeting.
Leon informed us that Mike Ayers questioned our proposed 1986 Budget reflecting
Park Bleachers under "Long Term Capital Improvements ",, as itwas also is
our 1985 Budget. We asked Leon to inform Mike and the other Council Members
this reflects a "build up" of funds for future park improvement.
Floyd informed ussthat the Lions Club did and excellent job on the Softball
Tournament Saturday. Parking was a problem, as cars were along street. Floyd
said everyone had parked themselves and if there would have been someone to
direct parking, just to get parking started, the problem would not have been.
It was suggested by Larry to keep this in mind for future Tournaments by
getting a parking attendant. Floyd also said a resident walking a dog was
confronted by someone at tournament when the dog "deposited" something
where the people were playing. This problem may have to be addressed in the
future.
Meeting was brought out to hockey rink when it was suggested we might use
bleachers this winter for.speotators... The posts and boards have heaved
such that more dirt must be' brought in. The weeds, inside boards should be
out before winter also.
Leon reminde& us the Budget 'should be,finalized by September 23rd.. Larry .
said he would get "Lay Coat" figure t& Debbie by that date.
Larry was confronted by Planning and Zoning.Cosiittee to ask our members
if in future developments would we ra her oney or land be set aside for
arik development.. We would like to be contacted at the time of new deeal
