Lloyd Welk made motion to accept minutes of the July 9th meeting , 81oy&
Kruger second it.
Larry Koch has ordered 1 swing set with trapeze and 1 slide for the Royfl
meadows tot lot. Larry has also mowed the tot lot. The equipment will be
shipped to City Hall., Two bleachers have also been ordered for City Park.
Concrete pads with bolts will be made to hold bleachers, so they will be
able to be moved to hockey rink if desired.
Larry Koch received a bid from Sid ( Garly's) for the Tennis Court for 1750...
Sid recommended no gate be installed. Committee decided that problems with a
gate would be greater than any benefits with one. Committee will ask Garly's
what the cost of new metal nets and resurfacing would be.
It was discovered no ready made signs available for Park sign. The wording
must be decided and then we will have sign made. "NO GLASS CONTAINERS
ALLOWED" will suffice.
Committee agreed that it would be a good idea to post rules and regulations in
the park but that it would probably be impractical to maintain such a sign, .
therefore recommends no action on this item at this time.
Discussion of Budget for 1986 followed. Committee will attempt to finalize the
budget at the next regular meeting.
