Minutes approved from May 14th meeting.
Larry informed those preaent, that he is awaiting a bid on the repair of
Tennis Court posts and Nets. He also suggested we tour the park sites and
facilities at the next meeting so we have an understanding of the repairs
needed for upkeep.
Leon informed us; that Harvey checked Hockey Rink boards and they are heaving
and need repair« Perhaps they can be banked with dirt, but will need to be
moved in the near future.
Larry was told by Larry Biehn that he will keep us informed on school closings,
so that we will have an opportunity to move equipment which is no longer needed.
Maureen will keep us informed o$' any park equipment at Government Surplus
as her husband, Park Director in Circle mr checks there from time to :tiime.
Bylaws — Final Draft was accepted.
Maureen was a guest at a Community Ed dinner meeting an June 4th. She express—
ed -her feeling that more programs and classes be provided in Centerville,
especially for 4 Sear olds and those in elementary grades. She also suggested
they visit the facilities available in Centerville as John OSBrien criticized
the low registration for Tennis Lessons being offered in Centerville. Maureen
asked him if as.aeen the condition of the Tennis Courts and the faot theitr
repair is on the park Board "s Budget for this yeas..
Little League Schedules were submitted to Lard* Koch by Jim Smith. Games
are Monday,Plidnesday and one Thursday game, as listed in attached schedules.
Meeting adjourned at 8sOOpm to visit Park site in an attempt to locate a spot
for well and power hookup ao Lion's Club can begin their project. It was
suggested by Lloyd we get drawings, and plans secured on a Shelter building
before we locate well..
