Minutes of March 12th meeting accepted.
Eight residents from Royal Meadows came to meeting and agreed to help
mow and supervise the proposed tot lot for their development. Those attend-
ing also indicated they would help lay sod with 2 or 3 weeks notice. There
are 6 children currently living in Royal Meadows, all under 6 years old.
Marcel informed us that the lot designated as Tot Lot has equipment and junk
still on it. A letter will be addressed to contractor to get the lot cleaned.
Floyd made a motion to adopt the Bylaws as reviewed, with the deletion of
Section E of Article V, on attendance. Lloyd seconded the motion and
motion was carriedunnaninoaijiy..
Debbie Gonsior presented an explanation of our 2 accounts. Recreation
Account being an expense account and maintenance account and Park Account
is dedicated money used on Capital improvements, such as land and bleachers.
The balance of these two accounts are as follows;

bleachers $1,300 (dedicated - not yet purchased).

Balance $6,088.84
Park Fund Balance brought much discussion, as Parks & Recreation Committee,
did not have a budget until 1984. Debbie explained accountant could not
just eliminate this figure.

Debbie will contact Satellite and order one outdoor toilet to be placed at
City Park.
In response to letter received from Frank Zimny, the committee decided to
continue with the policy of handling each request for use of Ballfields
individually. Each bean tiu ballfields are warned against foul language
and beer drinking, any infraction resulting in possible banning from future
use. The only exception to beer drinking is with permission for tournaments.
Marcel presented news from the Lions Club, that they wish to install a well
and power at the City Park. Their only concern is that the City of Center—
ville be able to handle the electricity bill from this installation.
They plan to begin work this summer on a 4 inch well and 400 amp service.
The Parks and Recreation Committee are most thankful to the Lions Club,
as before much more can be done at the park, we need water and electricity.
The Committee wishes to inform the City we are in support of this project
and gii.L- provide assistance to the Lions Club, if and when they need it.
