HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-11-05 Minutes , PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES November S, 2001 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks and Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held the regularly scheduled meeting on November 5, 2001, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. Chairperson Doug Porter called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. Present: Doug Porter - � � Wayne LeBlanc Tom Lee I I - Karla DeVine � K�thy Peil Brian Walter Absent: Tedd Petersen CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES �� Motion by Mi-. LeBlanc, secondecl by Ms. Peil, to approve the October ' 3, 2001 Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes. All in Favor: Porter, LeBlanc, Lee, DeVine, Peil Abstained: Walter � Motion by Ms. Devine, seconded by NIr. Walter, to recommend to council to adopt the attached verbage regarding Park Traffic and Parking as noted in the attached copy. STAFF LIASON Motion by Mr. Porter, seconded by Mr. Lee, to recommend council appoint a staff liason to attend Park and Recreation monthly meeting to document minutes, assemble packets, update agenda, etc. Ail in Favor: Motion cari•ied Unanimously RESIGNATION , Chainnan Porter �nfoi the committee of his intent to tender his � resignation.
