File No.: 000616 - 10000 -0 Dear Dallas: * Bonestroo At your request, we have prepared this scope and fee proposal to assist the City in bidding out a seal coating project this summer. In 2008, Mr. Palzer produced maps of his intended 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2015 seal coat program. Later that summer, we assisted in bidding and overseeing the construction of the 2008 project, which included crack filling over the entire city. We assume this year's project will involve the streets identified on the 2010 program map along with crack filling, where needed, throughout the City. We can produce the plans and specs and administer the bidding process for a fee not to exceed $3,800. In 2008, we were able to stay a bit under that budget, and hope to do so again this year. Chris Long will be available to assist City staff in holding a preconstruction conference, construction observation, and processing pay requests at his normal rate of $89 /hr. We will only have Chris perform tasks as directed by Mr. Palzer or Mr. Burmeister. We assume that City staff will perform the bulk of the observation and coordination during construction. Sincerely, BONESTROO ,00 /- Mark Statz, PE City Engineer 651 - 604 -4709 cc: Paul Palzer, Greg Burmeister — City of Centerville
