CITY O1 GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-16 <br />16 October 1995. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake currently operates a Curbside Recycling Program, for all single <br />family residences within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council realizes that increased public education and participation in the <br />program is in the best interests of all citizens and wishes to expand our current Recycling Program; <br />and. <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Solid Waste of the Ramsey County Department of Public Health has <br />made certain funds available for qualified Recycling Programs within the County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake hereby <br />empowers the City Clerk to apply for Score Funding to be used to operate and expand the. City's 1996 <br />Residential Curbside Recycling Program; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said funds, if approved and provided by. Ramsey County, shall <br />be used in such a manner as recommended by the City's Recycling Coordinator and approved by the <br />City Council. <br />1 <br />
