CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-12 <br />21 October 1996 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake currently operates a Municipal Curbside. Recycling Program for all single <br />family residences within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council realizes that increased public education and participation in the program is in. <br />the best interest of all citizens and wishes to expand the current program; and <br />WHEREAS, the. Division of Solid Waste of the Ramsey County Department of Public Health has made. <br />certain funds.available for qualified recycling programs within Ramsey County, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake hereby empowers. <br />the City Clerk to annually apply for any and all Score Funding or other such grants as may be made available <br />from time to time by other agencies for the sole purpose of expanding resident participation in the Gem Lake <br />Municipal Recycling Program; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said funds shall be used in such a manner as recommended by the. <br />City's Recycling Coordinator and as approved by the City Council. <br />
