CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-23 <br />15 December 1997 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gem Lake has reviewed and approved Ordinance No. 70 defining <br />annual pay for the Mayor and Council as elected officials; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff are appointed and must be hired at cprnpetitive wages;. and <br />WHEREAS, City stafff are continuously being asked to perform additional tasks while containing costs and <br />have done so without consideration of pay since 1992. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Gem Lake does hereby set the <br />annual salaries for City staff as follows: <br />City Clerk $ 3,000.00 Annually <br />City Treasurer. $ 2,500.00 Annually. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall reimburse City staff for all expenses incurred in the <br />performance of their duties; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall reimburse the City Clerk, Treasurer and Mayor for <br />use of their offices as official offices of the City in the amount of $1.00 annually along with other good and <br />valuable consideration. <br />
