The 1997 Year End and .46 Quarter :Recycling Reportswere presented, reviewed, and accepted by the Council. <br />Ereott reported on VLAWMO's response to his letter regarding redrawing boundaries along County Road "E" as <br />requested: by Vadnais. Heights with no action taken, <br />Birkebak reported on activities of the law enforcement contract cities group with no action taken. <br />Magnuson presented proposed prosecution costs for 1998 from Meslow and and indicated fees are consistent with the <br />1998 budget. <br />Magnuson reported on appointment by SEH, Inc. of Todd Erickson as new city engineer. <br />Motion by. Igo, Second by Kunin to include a public hearing on. (Proposed) Ordinance No. 68 (The Tobacco .Regulatiion <br />Ordinance) with the public.hearing for White Bear Montessori School revenue bond financing on 23 February 1998.at 7:00 pin. <br />carried unanimously. <br />Magnuson reported that Kuehn attorney Peter Tiede advises negotiations for mitigation of the: dispute and moving along <br />and that resolution by Kuehn and Kadeschka may be insight., <br />Motion by Birkebak; Second by Kunin to adopt Resolution. No. 98-01 making 1998 appointments was carried <br />unanimously. <br />Motion by Igo, Second by Birkebak to adopt Resolutions No. 98-02 setting 1998 fees for services and Resolution No. <br />98-03 setting rates for sewer services were each'carried unanimously. <br />Nordstrom presented the Treasurer's Report, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and indicating a balance <br />in the City's General Fund of $69,378.92 and in the City's Sewer Fund of $39.,845.24, Motion by Kunin; Second by .Igo to <br />approve report was carried unanimously. <br />Payment of bills totaling $8,366.96 and attached hereto as. Exhibit "B" was presented. Motion by Igo, Second by Kunin <br />o approve payments was carried unanimously. <br />The next meeting of the. City. Council will be on.
