.3L1 7 -24-98 .10 19A <br />P_02 <br />TO: Mayor Paul <br />FROM: Jack Hoeschle <br />DATE: July 22, 1998. <br />R.E: Planning Corn .ion Meeting of July 13, 1998 <br />The Gem Lake Planning Commission met on July 13, 1998, with Jim Lindner , Rick <br />Bosak and l in attendance. We discussed the Hansen request for a joint powers agreement <br />to provide city water and sewer to their property on County Read E. We were not sure how <br />to proceed since we had many questions Concerning the land, the idea and the eventual use <br />proposed. We concluded that the Hansens should present their proposal in heater detail so <br />that we can understand it better and weigh its implications for the city. <br />We also discussed Mr. Lindner's suggestions regarding the rezoning of the small GB district <br />in the northeast cornea of the City. We all agreed with the points made in his earlier letter <br />and we suggest that a public hearing be set to discuss a rezoning from GB to R-4. <br />cc: City Council <br />Planning Commission <br />Fritz Magnuson <br />
