The City shall provide <br />a list of various types and kinds of ,j cr.i rst s and cc;rrrsect i c*rrs whichare <br />approved by the City Engineer and the types and :kinder of joints that. <br />are prohibited.. <br />Section 10.3 Grades <br />Unless otherwise authorized, all house sewers shall have a .grade of not <br />less than one -eighth (1/8> inch per fcrct. A grade of one -quarter (1 /4) <br />inch per foot should be used whenever practical. The contractor shall <br />1 <br />check ..grades before construction proceeds, and he shall install the <br />house .:sewer by exposing the wye at the sewer rnaari on the servicestub <br />at the property line. He shall cc•rrrrect to the: wyeor service stub and <br />shall lay the .house sewer .line frcrrn the wye or .service stub to the <br />building. Whenever possible, the connecting sewer shall joint the <br />building at an elevations which isbelow the basement floor of such <br />building. <br />16 <br />
