CITY OF GEM LAKE RESOLUTION NO. 93-11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gem Lake wishes to comply with the Truth In Taxation Laws of the. State of Minnesota, and WHEREAS, c.ompl.iance with said laws requires a public hearing to be scheduled and held on said scheduled date to hear public comments on proposed City budgets and property tax levies by the City, and. WHEREAS, sad levies shall truthfully reflect the City's projected revenue needs for fiscal year 1994 in accordance with the City's 1994 budget, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gem Lake did convene a Truth -- In -Taxation Public Hearing on 07 December 1993 at 7:00 pm in the first floor meeting room of Tousley Ford located at 1493 County Road E East in the City of Gem Lake to hear public comment on the City's proposed 1994 budget and property tax levy, said meeting having been duly published in the City's official publication on 01 December 1993, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gem Lake did convene at it's. regularly scheduled meeting on 07 December 1993 to discuss said budget and levies and to review public comment. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of :Gem Lake does hereby empower the City Clerk to establish a final 1994 City Budget of one -hundred seven thousand four --hundred twenty-nine .{$1.0.7,429.} dollars and a 1994 Tax Levy of ninety-two thousand nine --hundred twenty- three ($9,923) which includes anticipated HACA from the State of MN of eight -thousand nine -hundred twenty-three ($8,923:). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said amount be reported to the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation and Records, Revenue Division --- Tax Accounting Department and the MN Department of Revenue Local Government Services Division for purposes of public record.
