FIRST AMENDMENT TO RAMSEY COUNTY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br />The Joa.nt Cooperation Agreement ("AGREEMENT") between the <br />County of Ramsey and GEI-� (" MUNICIPALITY" ) <br />commencing August 31, 1991, xs amendedas follows: <br />1. Pursuant to a Joint Powers Agreement. executed may 4, 1993, <br />the Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br />("AUTHORITY") assumed all rights and duties of the County of <br />Ramsey under all Agreements entered into by the County prior to <br />July 1, 1993, involving CDBG or HOME funds:, including:the Joint <br />Cooperation Agreement between the County of Ramsey and the <br />MUNICIPALITY. <br />2. Section I of the AGREEMENT, Definitions, is deleted and the <br />following is inserted in its place: <br />"County" means the County of Ramsey. <br />"HUD" means the United States Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development. <br />"CDBG Act" means Title I of the Housing and <br />Community Development Act of 1974, 42 <br />U.S.C. §5301 et seq., as amended.. <br />"HOMEAct" means the HO1IE Investment <br />Partnerships Act, Title II of the Cranston - <br />Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act, <br />42 U.S.C. §12701 et seq., as amended. <br />"CDBG Regulations" means those regulations <br />at 24 C.F.R. Part 570, as mended. <br />"HOME Regulations" means those regulations <br />at 24 C.F.R. Part 92, as amended.. <br />"Consortium" means the Anoka, Dakota, <br />Ramsey, and Washington Counties HOME <br />Consortium formed pursuant to the HOME Act. <br />"Cooperating Community" means any city, <br />town, or township in the County which has <br />entered into a Cooperation Agreement, as. <br />amended, substantially similar to this <br />AGREEMENT and its Amendments. <br />
