If you have questionsregardingthe statements or any financials year to date, pleasebring them to the next <br />meeting or forward them to Jessie. <br />D) Participation in Neighborhood Watch Program by the City of Gem Lake; Motion by Councilor <br />Schilling, Seconded by Artig-Swomley for the city of Gem Lake to participate in the Neighborhood Watch Program <br />was unanimously approved by voice vote. Signs will be posted indicating this city participates in Neighborhood <br />Watch Program. <br />E) National Night Out 2008 Proclamation by the City of Gem Lake: Mayor Emeott stated that a <br />proclamation by the City of Gem Lake to participate in National. Night Out is beforethe council. Motion by Schilling <br />for support or the proclamation for city participation in the National Night Out on August 5`l' to be held at the Gem <br />Lake City Hall wasunanimously approved. <br />•F) Citty NS4 report.for 2007 (Watson): The City will be combining 2006 and 2007 reports. Councilor Watson <br />has an example fi-orn the city of Birchwoodto .use as a template: Work is ongoing, <br />G) Need for storm sewer system map by June 30, 2008 — Minimum Control Measure 3a in the Phase II <br />Permit: Thecity may need to develop a storm sewer system map for inclusion in the Phase II Permit. Mayor Emeott <br />and Councilor Watson will look into this further. <br />H) 2008 Comp Plan upgrade .process .—Public . Hearing: Mayor Emeott stated that the Comp Plan draft isnow <br />completed; copies are being made; and work is beginning on re -writing ordinances to support thisplan by the. <br />Planning Committee.. Three copies .of the Gem Lake Comprehensive Plan will be available to residents for review at <br />the Gem Lake. City Hall by July 8`' and anelectronic copy will be put on the city web site. This will allow for a July <br />1511' Public Hearing at6:00 p.m. for public comment onthe .plan. Any changes' made. to the Comp Plan will be an <br />additional charge to the city. The July City Council meeting will be moved for July 22nd in order to review an <br />extension: of the building moratorium in the Gateway area. <br />1) Resolution regarding installation of stop signs at Otter Lake. and Goose Lake Road: Mayor Emeott <br />stated the city has been talking about the need for a stop sign at this intersection for years but. Ramsey County has not <br />be willing to put one in. Ramsey County finally: stated that to put one in, theywill need a resolution from the City of <br />Gem Lake and White. Bear Township.. Motion by Schilling, Seconded by Artig-Swomley that resolution: is drafted <br />asking Ramsey County to install a three way stop at the corner of Otter Lake and Goose Lake Roads as soon as <br />possible was unanimously approved by voice vote. <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR <br />Discussion regarding well testing carte up.
